Getting her start in theatre, Laurie eventually turned her sights on the movies.  A chance background casting as a hairdresser in a Charlie’s Angels - Behind the Scenes and then three days working as the screen wife of John Ratzenberger in Monkey Up, she got the bug and there was no turning back.  In addition to continually working to become a better actor with workshops and classes, Laurie has worked as a Stand-In for several movies which have given her great respect for the entire filmmaking process. She is currently writing, directing, and producing short films as well as script supervising.
